Cruel

Cruel beings have self-interest, sadism, and no true-care. Most humans are "cruel". This sounds bad, but you need to remember that self-interest is a GOOD thing, a "form of light". Self-interest is the reason that freeists are higher than angels. And it's the reason that cruel beings are not as low as "pure evil" beings.

If someone has a lot of self-interest (light), compared to their sadism (dark)... they could be seen as a more "light" than "dark" person...

Unfortunately, even then, it's still a terrible way of being. If someone has too much sadism relative to their self-interest, they'll never be able to get into paradise. How much exactly, I don't know, but there is such a thing as "too much". And in fact ANY sadism is something these beings will have to suffer for in order to be cleansed of their sadism.

Typical humans, because of their low level of sadism, can still do things that are "more good" for others than for themselves, despite being cruel (look at the top part of the arc in the diagram below). So thats a relief.
